RECEIVER APPOINTED 2ND SEPTEMBER 2011

No work has been carried out on site since August, 2009 and the developer Sunset Village Inc seems to have disappeared as nobody can make contact with any of the staff nor with any of the staff of the construction company Island Construction of Miami. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Moshe Yovel or Ephrat Yovel or has up to date contact numbers please email scottylad@bayview-owners.com with details.

Following representations to the Court by FCIB it was agreed that the developer would have 30 days from 10th. January, 2012 to repay their debt to the bank, and if repayment is not made within that 30 days the receiver would be allowed to take over forthwith. No such payment has been made so looks like the receiver will take over next week.

The situation is now further complicated as the receiver, developer's solicitor and a police officer attended the office of Sunset Village to check on the paperwork there and as the developer owed the landlord rent we have been advised that he took possession of the property and burned all the documents he could find. This does not make the receiver's task any easier and it makes us wonder how many laws have been broken by various parties in this reckless action. What was a very sad and frustrating state of affairs has just reached a whole new level and it is hoped that full investigations into the circumstances are carried out by someone with an interest in seeing justice carried out. We shall wait and see.
